from 10/7/2015:

While recording the brass for Day 6, I picked up some really bad radio interference which I could control by moving my mic cable around in the room. I recorded a few sections of it and then ran it through my modular today to create the bed of field recordings that makes up a lot of this sketch.
After I had the structure of the collage to the basic proportions I wanted, I recorded in several tracks of guitar that I granulated and ran through a drone generator in SuperCollider that I built for a much older piece.
